HOW TO BID

Step 1: Register for an account

You will need to have a valid email address for us to send you updates on your auction bid as well as how to make the donation if you win an auction.

Step 2: Review The Artwork(s)

Note: the artwork’s base price is set to include the price of the frame.

Step 3: Place Your Bid

Place a bid on your chosen product. This will make your existing bid the lowest bid. You can also place a bid that is more than your opponents bid amount. It should be the unmatched and highest unique bid until the time auction closes to win the item.

Step 4: Keep Track of Your Bid

If someone else places a bid higher than yours, you will be informed by email. You can then decide to place a bid to supersede his or hers. If not done before the auction closing time the highest bidder will win the auction. Bidders are required to bid a minimum of $1 above the current highest bid.

*If you do not receive the emails, it could have been sent to the Junk folder.

Step 5: Receive Confirmation E-mail

Once the bidding ends, the winner will be notified via e-mail from the website. It will indicate the confirmation about your winning the artwork. Please reply the e-mail with when you will be able to come down to West Grove Primary School to make payment and collect the artwork. Dates available are to be advised in the e-mail.

*If you do not receive the emails, it could have been sent to the Junk folder.

Step 6: Donation and Collection of Artwork(s)

All donations should be made via cheque or cash to West Grove Primary School. We do not accept online donation. You may want to pick up the artwork on the same day as your donation. Cheques should be addressed to Children’s Cancer Foundation. All donations are eligible for tax deduction of 2.5 times the donated amount. Alternatively, if your child is a student currently studying at West Grove Primary School, we will advise you on how to make the donation through your child.
